The Mutual Fund Site .org is dedicated to providing information-based content about the field of mutual funds. Unlike some of the other sites available to investors, ours does not push product or promote self-serving programs or subscription plans. We feel our information-only focus allows us to be as unbiased as humanly possible in an arena that is often flooded with highly biased information and data.

Our small team of qualified financial and investment management professionals brings the skills and knowledge necessary to comment on and recommend all of the financial planning products and strategies (including mutual funds, of course) that we publish on this site. With that high level of qualification behind us, we must unfortunately pass on requests seeking advice, recommendations or strategies from individual investors. As such, any comments posted that request advice or recommendations or strategies will not be approved for posting (sorry, but we intend on maintaining the objectivity with this site).

Our Team of Writers

Chris Blanchet, Fund Advisor to the Mutual Fund Site. Chris relies on more than 18 years of financial services industry experience when reviewing and recommending specific mutual funds to the Site. Having worked with two of the world’s largest financial institutions (by asset size and market capitalization) Chris has held progressively more senior roles from an advisory standpoint.

Richard Best. Having left behind Executive and Senior positions, Richard has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Formerly Series 7, 22, 63, 66 licensed, combined with his engaging style in the areas we deal with at the Mutual Fund Site, his posts are fresh, unique and highly educational for investors at all levels.

Colin Hedegard. Having worked in the trenches, Colin had FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 licenses. His knowledge and passion for the industry is evident in each of his uniquely angled posts here at the Mutual Fund Site.

Not including our Administrative Team, the Mutual Fund Site offers well over half a century of actual industry experience. Our site understands the intricacies of mutual funds; we are not pencil pushers or number crunchers (although we do that quite well too!) happy with what a mutual fund looks like on paper. We know what to look for in a “breathing” and “living” product, what management’s role is and can appreciate what you, as an individual investor, have to live through while some of these “best funds” go through mood swings. For years, each of us had to answer to investors just like yourself. And for years, we helped people like you achieve their investment goals.
